LOREN SCOTT
Loren Scott is one of the preeminent business bankruptcy attorneys in the state. NATALIE SCOTT
Natalie Scott has represented debtors and creditors, both in and out of bankruptcy court, and is the firm’s bankruptcy litigation and appellate specialist. She has handled numerous state and federal bankruptcy court appeals. After graduating law school summa cum laude, she clerked for then Judge David Brewer on the Oregon Court of Appeals. She has worked as an adjunct professor for the University of Oregon School of Law in legal research, writing, and bankruptcy appellate advocacy. Natalie has over 15 years’ experience representing individuals on all sides of bankruptcy litigation (referred to as “adversary proceedings”) as well as in both taking and defending appeals in such areas as adverse possession, LLC charging orders, student loan discharge, and, most recently, State action with respect to the funding of public education.
Natalie is a familiar face among debtor-creditor counsel throughout Oregon, holding a reputation for tough, skillful representation of her clients and thoughtful, compelling analysis both in written and oral advocacy.

From Couple to Law Partners.
Loren and Natalie Scott met freshman year in college (at Emory University) and have been together ever since. Both born and raised in the South, they headed West to finish college at Arizona State University. They chose to settle and raise their family in Eugene. They married in 2002 after graduating law school together and welcomed the first of three children in 2004. In 2011, they founded The Scott Law Group. Loren and Natalie often work together on cases, providing complimentary sets of skills for the benefit of Scott Law Group’s clients. They have been invited to serve on committees and to speak at events, individually and as co-panelists. Both have been active in their children’s education and extracurricular activities, including coaching youth basketball together for nearly 5 years. Loren’s interests include motorcycles, golf, spending time outdoors, and playing with his dogs. Natalie enjoys hiking, tennis, reading, and writing poetry and fiction. You will find Loren, Natalie, and their staff refreshingly down to earth, responsive, and professional. We look forward to talking with you!
